From time to time, some strange thoughts keep turning in the overworked and overloaded heads of our journalists. Thus, the head of Daria Marjanović, and this is far from being an ordinary head (plain truth!), came up with Norin in 1995. Naturally, we wholeheartedly supported her idea about a journalists' singing contest. It is a common knowledge that the work of a journalist is a stressful one and that it is well cured by laugh. Norin was our preventive medicine. Every year, at the time of "Porin" /local music awards/, we would show off our singing potentials. We make ourselves laugh and, hopefully, we make our viewers laugh. One of the regular winners so far was Drago Celizić with his almost professional singing voice, but we all do our best to outshine him. Davor Meštrović puts forth an outstanding effort in that respect by taking private singing lessons. Is it worth the trouble, it is for you to decide.
After two seasons, "Norin" was renamed into "The Golden Voice" and this award, for which all members of the Good Morning Croatia crew fight to the last gasp, goes to the best voice.

Since we are all very achievement-oriented (although many of us are reluctant to admit it), at the time of the rule of Mexican soap operas, we also made one and called it The Abandoned Girl . This extravaganza with particularly entangled family relations that we successfully untangled, had already several re-runs and yet, not a single editor/actor has ever been offered a serious acting role, not even from Bollywood.
As much as we like music-and-stage spectacles, so far we have launched quite a number of the so-called serious projects. "A welcome to our fiery football players" and also the Football quiz marking the World Championship, to mention only a few. We also worked on The Statehood Day and May Day. The humanitarian action Let's Make Them Hear started with a special program prepared by the desk of Good Morning Croatia.

But, let's get back to singing, our favourite activity. Every Christmas we make a new hit, and on these pages you will find all our Season's Greetings.
